Blow it
Jen: Have you been practicing your speech?
Jason: Oh definitely! I’ve been practicing everyday. I really don’t want to blow it.
Jen: With that much practice, you won’t blow it!
제가 “Have you been practicing your speech? I’ve been practicing everyday. I really don’t want to blow it. 저도 “With that much practice, you won’t blow it!” Now keep today’s expression ‘blow it’ in mind and let’s hear the conversation again.

Today’s expression is blow it. To blow it means to fail or spoil your opportunity of achieving something because of something you say or do. It simply means to lose an opportunity.
In today’s conversation Jason tells me that he has been practicing his speech everyday because he doesn’t want to blow it. If Jason doesn’t practice his speech, he may mess up. That’s what he means when he says that he doesn’t want to blow it. I’ve been practicing everyday. I really don’t want to blow it.”
“I really blew the interview by not answering the questions properly.” Here is another example sentence. “Way to blow it Tony!” ‘To blow it’ 이 표현 잘 기억하시고요. Now that you know what today’s expression means, let’s listen to the conversation for the last time.
