Demonstrasi dan kekerasan muncul sebagai reaksi atas penumpasan oleh militer Mesir terhadap kamp-kamp demonstan di Kairo dan sekitarnya.
Para pendukung presiden terguling Mesir, Mohammed Morsi kembali melangsungkan aksi protes, sebagian membakar gedung-gedung pemerintahan di Kairo.
Stasiun televisi nasional Mesir dan saksi-saksi mata mengatakan ratusan pendukung Ikhwanul Muslimin menyerang gedung-gedung pemerintah Kamis di Giza. Pendukung Morsi juga berbaris di jalanan Iskandaria.
Demonstrasi dan kekerasan muncul sebagai reaksi atas penumpasan oleh militer Mesir terhadap kamp-kamp demonstan di Kairo dan sekitarnya, dan pertikaian di Iskandaria dan Suez.
Video dari Ikhwanul Muslimin menunjukkan ratusan jenazah dibungkus kain kafan di masjid El Iman di Kairo. Kementerian Kesehatan Mesir mengatakan kekerasan hari Rabu menewaskan setidaknya 525 orang dan melukai lebih dari 3.700 orang. Ikhwanul Muslimin menyebut korban tewas mencapai 4.500.
