Tawagar dai ta isa birnin Accra ne karkashin jagoranci tsohuwar shugabar kasar Liberia, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, wacce ta samu ganawa da Ministar harkokin wajen Ghana Mrs. Ayokor Bothway.
Yayin ganawa da manema labarai da ta yi, Sirleaf ta kwatanta mulkin dimokardaiyyar Ghana a matsayin abin koyi ga daukacin Afirka, tana mai fatan za a yi zabe sahihi.A nata jawabin, Minista Bothway, ta ce sun shirya tsaf domin gudanar da zaben inda ta ce, “Ghana ba za ta ba duniya kunya ba.”
A ranar Litinin ne ‘yan kasar Ghana za su garzaya zuwa rumfunan zabe don kada kuri’unsu a zaben da Shugaba Nana Akufor Addo da tsohon shugaban John Mahama suke gaba-gaba a matsayin manyan ‘yan takara.
Jam’iyyar Akufo-Addo ta yi kamfen ne musamman kan tsare-tsarens a fannin ilimi, yayin da Mahama ya mai da hankali kan samar da ayyukan yi tare da caccakar tarihin rashawar abokin hamayyarsa.
A wannan makon Gwamnatin Ghana ta ayyana ranar Litinin, 7 ga Disamba, a matsayin ranar hutu – domin a ba masu kada kuri’a damar zabar shugaban kasar na gaba.
Duk da cewa sama da mutum miliyan 17 da suka yi rijistan kada kuri’a da kuma ‘yan takarar shugaban kasa 12, hukumomi na fafutukar kwadaitar da mutane su fita zaben, wanda yake dauke da sanannun fuskokin da aka gani a zabuka biyu da suka gabata.
Shugaba mai ci Nana Akufo-Addo na jam'iyyar New Patriotic Party (NPP) zaifuskanci John Mahama da ya gada na jam'iyyar ‘yan adawa ta National Democratic Congress '(NDC).
Mahama ya yi nasarar lashe zaben a 2012 sannan Akufo-Addo ya kada shi a zaben 2016.
