Steve Redisch
As a managing editor for Voice of America’s News Center, Steve Redisch works with reporters and editors to produce television reports for VOA TV programs and digital platforms. Previously, he served as VOA’s Executive Editor, responsible for VOA’s news, programming, broadcast operations, and internet departments.
Redisch came to VOA in January 2008 after a 20-year career at CNN, serving as the network’s Washington deputy bureau chief and executive editor. He is the recipient of two Emmy Awards and led the team honored with a Best Newscast National Headliner Award for “The World Today,” CNN’s flagship primetime news show.
Redisch began his broadcasting career in 1979 at WTOP all-news radio in Washington, D.C. after attending American University.
