Sonny Young

Sonny joined the Voice of America in 1988 and he’s traveled all over the world to cover numerous international sporting events, including the Olympics, the World Track & Field Championship and the World Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations football tournaments. His Sonny Side of Sports radio show became a daily, 30 minute program in 2016 and Sonny says the additional broadcasting time has allowed him to take a more in-depth look at sports.
