Hassuna Baishu

Hassuna Baishu is a multimedia reporter who previously worked with VOA English to Africa Service's digital team. He has more than 10 years of experience in multimedia storytelling and social media, with a focus on the Middle East and North Africa region. Baishu has worked on articles, videos, and graphics while covering the African continent within the service. 

Prior to VOA, Baishu worked at the Middle East Broadcasting Networks, where he served in several positions, both on television programs and on digital platforms. In addition, Baishu has also worked with local and international civil organizations in his native country of Libya, including the International Organization for Migration, or IOM, the Carter Center and the Libyan National Dialogue Preparatory Commission, where he helped establish communication strategies. Baishu founded and managed Libya Enterprise, a non-profit digital platform delivering data-driven news and analysis.
