A Zimbabwe judge has charged 46 people with plotting to overthrow President Robert Mugabe by plotting uprisings similar to those that led to the ouster of Egypt's Hosni Mubarak.
The suspects have been detained since their arrest on Saturday and have a bail hearing in Harare on Thursday.
Prosecutors say the suspects, including a former opposition lawmaker Munyaradzi Gwisai met last week to organize, strategize and remove the government of Zimbabwe.
The group watched video of the Egyptian uprising that recently drove Mubarak from office after three decades.
Officials with Mugabe's security forces says they will clamp down on anyone plotting to destabilize the government.
