US Farmers Welcome Trans Pacific Trade Accord
It’s being touted as one of the most expansive trade agreements ever, bringing together nearly forty percent of the global economy. But while the Trans Pacific Partnership, or TPP, agreement waits for full ratification by the twelve participating countries, the debate over what it gives, and might take away, continues in the United States. As VOA’s Kane Farabaugh reports, U.S. farmers generally support the agreement, hoping it will make it easier for them to compete globally.
