VOA60 Africa - More than 10,000 migrants died in past year while trying to reach Spain

Spain: More than 10,000 migrants died while trying to reach Spain by sea this past year, a report released by a Spanish migration rights group said on Thursday. Most of the deaths recorded up until December 15 took place as migrants tried to cross from West Africa to the Canary Islands.
