VOA Spanish: Maduro sworn in as Venezuela's ruler; opposition calls it 'coup'

Nicolas Maduro was sworn in Friday morning as Venezuela's leader for a new six-year term. As Maduro was sworn in, the United States, the European Union and the United Kingdom announced a new round of sanctions against officials of his government and others. Later Friday, the opposition called it a coup and indicated a "new phase" of struggle.
