With China's Spring Festival travel rush at its peak, rail tickets can be hard to get. Once the official platform releases tickets, they sell out quickly, resulting in the emergence of various "ticket-grabbing strategies" on social media. Many third-party platforms have launched tools that purportedly can increase the success rate of ticket purchases - at extra cost. Official media have labeled such offers marketing gimmicks.
