VOA Kurdish: Kurdish political parties welcome Ocalan’s call for peace but challenges remain

Kurdish political parties in the Kurdistan Region have largely welcomed PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan’s call for disarmament and a peaceful resolution to the Kurdish issue in Turkey. In his message, Ocalan urged the PKK to lay down arms and shift to a political struggle, an appeal that many see as a potential turning point in Kurdish-Turkish relations.
