US Tightens Pressure on Cuba Amid Crackdown on Maduro in Venezuela

The United States is implementing tough new measures to crack down on Cuba and to discourage its support for President Nicholas Maduro in Venezuela. In a major policy reversal, the Trump administration is allowing U.S. citizens to sue foreign companies and individuals who use property in Cuba confiscated from them decades ago by the communist government of then-Cuban leader Fidel Castro.
