Head of US Africa Command: Rival Libyan Factions Must Work Together
The commander of the United States Africa Command, which oversees U.S. military operations across the continent, tells VOA the only route to peace in Libya is to bring together rival governments. General Thomas Waldhauser made the remarks at the Munich Security Conference, ahead of Operation Flintlock, a joint military exercise about to get underway in seven African host nations.
