UN Expresses Concern About Palestinian Journalist in Israeli Jail
The U.N. Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights has raised concerns about Palestinian journalist Mohammed Al-Qeeq, who has been on a hunger strike for more than two months in an Israeli jail. He is protesting being held without trial or specific charges. Zlatica Hoke reports that Israel's supreme court was scheduled to rule Thursday (watch for updates) on whether to release Al-Qeeq.
