The U.S-based online transportation network Uber says it will pay hackers up to $10,000 to find bugs in the company's software.
After last year's successful testing of the program that led to fixing nearly 100 bugs, the online taxi service issued a worldwide call to hackers to find critical flaws in its subscription, networking and payment services.
The first part of the program will start May 1 and last for 90 days.
To qualify for the payment, a hacker will have to find at least four vulnerabilities, while a fifth will make him or her eligible for an additional bonus.
In order to help bug hunters dig deep into Uber's software, its security experts prepared a so-called "bug hunter's treasure map" with information about how each of the company's public services works.
Uber says the bounty program will ensure that its software has the highest possible level of security.
