Progress in Defeating AIDS, Ebola and Polio; Alarm at Spread of TB, Antibiotic Resistance
The Ebola outbreak in West Africa began two years ago this month. In 2015, a vaccine against Ebola proved successful. There have been other successes against diseases like HIV/AIDS and polio, as well as concerns about the increasing risk of antibiotic resistance. VOA's Carol Pearson looks at 2015 and some remarkable progress in medicine.
