We’re rolling with the five most popular songs in the Billboard Hot 100 Pop Singles chart, for the week ending May 19, 2018.
We get a little movement in the list this week, along with a return trip.
Number 5: Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey "The Middle"
Zedd, Maren Morris and Grey recover two slots to fifth place with “The Middle.”
The video for this song premiered in January at the Grammy Awards. On May 20, the performers will take the stage at the Billboard Music Awards. Maren went on Instagram to say “We’re pulling out the stops with this one.”
Number 4: Bebe Rexha & Florida Georgia Line "Meant To Be"
Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line spend another week in fourth place on the Hot 100 with “Meant To Be,” while they post a 24th week atop the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. That ties Florida Georgia Line’s own debut hit “Cruise” from 2012…while trailing only the all-time chart champ, Sam Hunt’s “Body Like A Back Road.” That song spent an incredible 34 weeks at number one in 2017.
Number 3: Drake "God's Plan"
Drake slips a slot to third place with “God’s Plan,” his former champ.
It was the 29th song in Hot 100 history to debut at number one, making it Drake’s fourth chart-topper and second as a solo artist. It also debuted at number one in Canada and the United Kingdom.
Number 2: Post Malone & Ty Dolla $ign "Psycho"
Meanwhile, Post Malone and Ty Dolla $ign reach a new Hot 100 high with “Psycho,” jumping three slots to second place.
Post and his partner from “Rockstar,” 21 Savage, are currently touring the U.S. through June 27. After that, Post heads for Europe starting July 5 at the Rock Werchter Festival in Belgium.
Number 1: Drake "Nice For What"
Up at number one, Drake again reigns with “Nice For What.” On May 14, Drake and Migos announced a joint North American tour. Dubbed the “Aubrey And The Three Amigos Tour” – Drake’s real name is Aubrey Drake Graham – the 41-date tour starts on July 26 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
We’re done for now, but don’t take your eyes off the charts…and be sure and join us next week for an all-new lineup.
