The U.S.-led coalition in Afghanistan says a suicide car bomber has killed three of its service members in an explosion in the capital.
The International Security Assistance Force did not identify the nationalities of the victims killed when the blast struck a military convoy Friday in Kabul.
Officials say six civilians were wounded in the blast.
The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the explosion, which comes as President Hamid Karzai deliberates over a proposed agreement allowing U.S. forces to stay in the country beyond 2014.
The president says he will not sign the deal until after elections scheduled for next April, and unless the United States agrees to various demands.
Many Afghans concerned about security after 2014 have urged the president to sign the pact.
