Muhammad Ali’s absence can be felt from America to Zaire and in some of the most remote corners of the world (after the former world heavyweight boxing champion died last Friday at age 74). But for the residents of the West End in Louisville, Kentucky- the neighborhood Ali called home as a child - he represented something more, and today remains a voice of hope, “the people’s champion," for future generations.
