Russia, Syrian Government Condemned for Humanitarian Chaos in Aleppo
The Syrian government's indiscriminate shelling of civilians in Aleppo in the past two weeks has sparked international outrage. President Bashar al-Assad's army backed by Russia and Iran continued bombing parts of the eastern part of the city in order to quell the opposition. Shelling of hospitals and loss of medical personnel has left wounded residents with little or no help. Zlatica Hoke reports much of the world is condemning Moscow and Damascus, but no one has a viable solution for Syria.
