Monday's supermoon, the first of four this year, attracted the attention of photographers around the globe. During a supermoon, the full moon is a little closer to Earth and can appear bigger in the night sky. September’s supermoon will coincide with a partial lunar eclipse and October’s will be the year’s closest approach. The final supermoon will be in November.
