Egyptian authorities are completing the excavation of what they think is an ancient eight meter statue of Ramses II, which they say is one of their most important archeological discoveries, ever. Ramses II, one of the most celebrated pharaohs in Egyptian history, ruled more than 3,000 years ago.

The statue is 8-meter high and weighs 8.5 tons and made from quartzite stone.
