Ceremonies were held Tuesday at the Pentagon outside Washington, in New York City and in a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, to mark the 17th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States that killed almost 3,000 people. VOA's Jeff Custer reports.
