LIVE BLOG: Republican National Convention, Day 3

update

'Make America First Again' was the theme for day 3 of the Republican National Convention, as vice presidential nominee, Indiana Governor Mike Pence, took center stage after other key figures, including: former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, and former Trump rivals Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Florida Senator Marco Rubio addressed the convention.

He says: We're fighting not just for one particular candidate or one campaign, but because each of us (wants to tell our kids and grandchildren) we did the best for their future and their country. TV pans to the crowd and shows a woman crying.

He is running through a list of criticisms of Obama and Clinton. His comment that they reference the death of Americans in Benghazi by asking what difference it makes is met with huge boos from the crowd.

He cites the Iran nuclear deal and says the country celebrates Death to America Day and Death to Israel Day. Huge boos from the crowd.
