'Make America First Again' was the theme for day 3 of the Republican National Convention, as vice presidential nominee, Indiana Governor Mike Pence, took center stage after other key figures, including: former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, and former Trump rivals Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Florida Senator Marco Rubio addressed the convention.

Ralph Alvarado, a state senator in Kentucky, reads off the great points of Kentucky: horses, bourbon, coal, bluegrass and the finest people on earth. He's the first Hispanic elected to state office in Kentucky.

Alvarado criticizes President Obama, says he has made the country more divided than ever. Says Obama and Hillary Clinton don't know how to foster the American dream.

Alvarado: This election is not about America going left or right, but America going up or down. (Huge applause from crowd.) By protecting the American dream is how we make America first again, he says, then addresses Spanish speakers in Spanish.
