LIVE BLOG: Republican National Convention, Day 3

update

'Make America First Again' was the theme for day 3 of the Republican National Convention, as vice presidential nominee, Indiana Governor Mike Pence, took center stage after other key figures, including: former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, and former Trump rivals Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Florida Senator Marco Rubio addressed the convention.

Eric Trump is on the stage. He cites the positive effects his father, Donald, has had on the election, including voter registration and primary support.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who pulled out of the presidential race in May, didn't endorse Republican nominee Donald Trump, instead he urged voters to "vote your conscience."

Reporters on the floor at the arena said as Cruz walked off the stage there were some "boos" from delegates. At one point, Cruz had referenced the New York delegation, thanking them for their support with a smile, despite their loudly calling out Trump's name.

RNC house band is trying to get audience participation, getting the delegates to yell "Trump, yea!" as they sing.
