President Trump delivers an address to Congress
U.S. President Donald Trump will address a joint session of Congress Tuesday night for the first time in his new term. The address comes after Trump has signed a slew of executive orders in the first weeks after taking office including several focused on slashing the size of the federal government, a project spearheaded by his largest campaign donor Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency or DOGE. U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin will give the Democratic rebuttal following the President’s speech. For a preview on what to expect, we spoke with Matt Klink, a Republican strategist with Klink Campaigns in Los Angeles.
