U.S. President Barack Obama's popularity has dropped to an all-time low, according to a new nationwide poll.
The Quinnipiac University survey says 54 percent of American voters polled disapproved of President Obama's job performance, with 39 percent approving of his performance.
In addition, for the first time, a 52 percent majority of American voters said Obama was dishonest and untrustworthy.
The poll showed a downturn from an October 1 survey.
The latest numbers come just days after the president publicly apologized for his administration lack of clarity about details of his health care reform law. The president had said in the past that if people liked their current health care plans, they could keep it under the new law.
In his apology, Obama said there were five percent of Americans who bought insurance on their own and have since had their policies canceled.
Obama got a positive approval rating for handling terrorism, with other negatives for his handling of foreign policy, immigration and the federal budget.
