Plane Sets World Record for Solar-powered Flight

More than a year after it took off from Abu Dhabi, the four-engine experimental plane Solar Impulse 2 became the first aircraft to circumnavigate the world using only power collected from the sun. Its pilots hope that their record-setting flight will help promote the use of solar power as a cheap and renewable power source. VOA’s George Putic reports.
