Paris Climate Pact Seen as Roadmap to Low Carbon Future
The climate change agreement reached in Paris last weekend will cut greenhouse gas emissions to avoid the most catastrophic impacts of global warming. While the accord is voluntary and falls short of limiting emissions to 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels scientists are calling for, it does provide a road map to ramp up action with support from private investors.
