Officials in southern Pakistan say a bomb blast targeting a Sindh High Court senior judge has killed at least seven people and wounded 15 others, including the judge.
Authorities say the explosion in Karachi Wednesday morning was aimed at Maqbool Baqir. Police say one of the judge's staff members was killed in the assault. Officials say police officers and a paramilitary Ranger were among the dead.
Police say the bomb was attached to a motorcycle and was detonated by remote control as Baqir's convoy drove by.
The Pakistan Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.
