The Kenyan Red Cross said at least 41 people have been killed in what it calls a grisly bus accident in Kenya's southwest.
More than 30 others were injured in the accident, which happened around 2:00 a.m. Thursday about 15 kilometers from the town of Narok.
The Red Cross said the bus, bound for the town of Homa Bay, careened off the road and rolled into a valley. Photos showed the roof of the vehicle was completely ripped off in the crash.
Kenyan police said the driver apparently failed to negotiate a sharp turn.
