Lady Gaga will perform in a sure-to-be eye-catching outfit, Tim McGraw adds a little country to Hollywood, Adam Levine brings rock-star swagger and pop duo Tegan and Sara team up with The Lonely Island for kid favorite "Everything Is Awesome."

No, it is not the Grammys. Those were last week. It is the 87th Academy Awards and the telecast producers know they need new viewers who might require more enticement than a slew of good movies and gorgeous movie stars to show up for Hollywood's biggest night Sunday.

Oscar-nominated 'Imitation Game' Fights Cause with Turing's Story

As the story of a little-known British World War II code breaker gears up for the Oscars as one of the top nominees, The Imitation Game has found a larger cause to fight for the rights of persecuted gay men.

Nominated for eight Oscars on Feb. 22, The Imitation Game tells the story of mathematician Alan Turing, who worked with a secret group of government
cryptologists during WW II to break Nazi Germany's wartime code and saved countless lives.

Dragons, Robots, Trolls Run Tight Race for Animation Oscar

With the surprise snub of a front-runner and five nominees featuring dragons, trolls, robots and mythical creatures, the Oscar for best animated film may deliver the most exciting race this year.

Disney Animation's Big Hero 6, DreamWorks Animation's How to Train Your Dragon 2, Laika Studios' The Boxtrolls, Studio Ghibli's The Tale of the Princess Kaguya and Cartoon Saloon's Song of the Sea will compete for
the Academy Award for animated feature.
