Automation and some trade deals have cost the United States millions of manufacturing jobs, leaving many people unemployed. Meanwhile, U.S. companies can't find people with technical skills for jobs that pay well. As VOA's Jim Randle reports, one U.S. firm is using apprenticeships to build a high-tech workforce.
