Obama Tackles Painful Topics in Laos
During his landmark visit to Laos, U.S. President Barack Obama has the challenging duty to address the damage the Southeast Asian county has suffered since the time of the Vietnam War. Millions of cluster bomblets still litter the landlocked nation, after being dropped by the United States half a century ago. Despite efforts to rid Laos of the unexploded ordinance, the leftover pieces continue to kill and maim new victims. Zlatica Hoke reports.
