NYC Charity Distributes Winter Coats to More Than 70,000

New York City has now entered the most brutal weeks of winter, and not everyone can afford to stay warm. New York Cares, the largest volunteer management organization in New York City, teams up with local businesses and non-profits to collect and distribute used coats to those in need. The demand this year: 103,000. One quarter of the requests are for children. VOA's Ramon Taylor has the story.
