A military transport plane has crashed in northeastern Algeria, killing all but one of the 103 people on board.
Initial reports said everyone on board was killed, but Algerian officials now say there was one survivor.
The official Algerian Press Service says the C-130 Hercules aircraft went down in a mountainous area while approaching the city of Constantine.
Authorities say bad weather, including snowfall and high winds, played a role in the crash. They say search and rescue teams were immediately sent to the crash site.
The flight had originated in the southern province of Tamanrasset.
Some information for this report was provided by AP and Reuters.
