Country singer Luke Bryan launched his career in 2008 with the Top 5 hit, "All My Friends Say." Now two albums into his career, Luke is well on his way to becoming Country music's next big star.
"Doin' My Thing" is the title track from Luke Bryan's second album.
"We really crafted the album and crafted what we felt like we've learned the past couple of years from my fans, and put out an album to really gear toward capturing a broader fan base," Luke says.
Based on the album's sales, Luke was successful at attracting new fans. Doin' My Thing entered the Country Albums chart at Number 2 and the Billboard 200 albums list at Number 6. First week sales more than doubled those of his 2007 debut album, I'll Stay Me.
Luke also has many fans throughout the music industry. He was named Top New Solo Vocalist and Top New Artist at this year's Academy of Country Music Awards.
"Rain Is A Good Thing", one of eight tracks Luke co-wrote for his new album, became his first Number One single on the Country chart. Luke included one cover on Doin' My Thing. His version of OneRepublic's 2007 international hit "Apologize" is a fan favorite at his live shows.
On August 11, Luke and his wife Caroline welcomed their second child, Tatum, who joins two-year-old brother Bo. After spending some family time at home, Luke returned to the road and will perform concerts through mid-December. His second annual "Farm Tour" takes place September 28 through October 1 in Luke's home state of Georgia. Proceeds from the four shows go to farming charities in the cities where he performs.
