Police in London say a van collided with pedestrians outside a mosque in the northern part of the city, injuring several people early Monday.
One person was arrested after the incident near Finsbury Park.
Police have given out little information, but are calling it a "major incident."
Britain's Muslim Council says its prayers are with the victims.
The area was crowded with worshipers attending evening prayers for Ramadan.
Britain, especially London, has been on edge over several recent incidents, including last month's terror bombing in Manchester and the recent car attack and stabbing near London Bridge.
