Some of the early exit poll information from North Carolina and Ohio seems to suggest some good news for President Obama. Exit polls show a very close race in North Carolina. Obama won there narrowly four years ago and many Democrats expected Romney to win it back this year.
If it stays real close that should be good news for the Obama campaign. Likewise in Ohio exit polls point to a close race with possible slight advantage for the president. But again, it’s early so don’t read too much into any slivers just yet.

So fare we have predictable outcomes - Vermont for Obama, Kentucky for Romney, and Indiana - where the economy continues to struggle - for Romney as well. Obama won Indiana in 2008. Two big ones - Ohio where President Obama and Mitt Romney devoted large amounts of time campaigning, and North Carolina, where Obama tried to fight back against Romney strength, could point the way toward how the evening will end.
