Born on April 26, 1970 in Slovenia, Melania Knauss began her modeling career at the age of sixteen. She went on to earn her degree in design and architecture at University in Slovenia. In 1996, Melania settled in New York in 1996.
She married Donald Trump in 2005 after a long courtship.
"We literally have never had an argument, forget about the word 'fight' ... We just are very compatible. We get along," Trump has said of his wife.
The couple welcomed a son, Baron William Trump, a year later.
