Authorities say lightning strikes have killed at least 29 people during storms in Bangladesh.
The majority of casualties from Monday's severe weather were in the country's north, including the Chapainawabganj district.
Bangladesh is regularly hit by tropical storms in May ahead of the monsoon season which begins in June.
