Hillary Clinton does not plan to speak tonight, her campaign chair, John Podesta, told a crowd at the Democrat's election-night headquarters in New York. She is lagging both in the popular vote and in electoral votes. In the latter, Republican Donald Trump leads with 247 votes to her 215. Podesta said that Clinton would not speak until "every vote is counted."

Associated Press projects Hillary Clinton wins Maine, but only one of its two congressional districts. Clinton takes 3 electoral votes. Trump wins 1 electoral vote. Maine appropriates two electoral votes to the statewide winner, and both congressional districts appropriate one electoral vote to the district winner.
