Tensions High as Kenya Readies for Repeat Presidential Vote
Tensions are running high as Kenyans prepare to vote in a re-run of presidential elections after results of an August poll were nullified. While incumbent Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta says Thursday will be a unique opportunity to solidify the country’s foundations as a modern democratic state, his rival, opposition leader Raila Odinga, is calling for a boycott.
