Israel has reopened the Kerem Shalom and Erez border crossings with Gaza after closing them for two days.
The crossings were closed Sunday after a rocket was fired into Israel from the Palestinian side. No damage or injuries from the rocket were reported.
Israel said it was the second rocket strike since the end of Israel's 50-day war against Gaza militants in July and August.
A cease-fire agreed to between Israel and Gaza's Hamas rulers took effect on August 26. The five weeks of fighting in Gaza has left more than 2,000 Palestinians, most of them Gaza civilians, and 67 Israelis soldiers dead.
Gaza still lacks an effective or united Palestinian government, and unless stability is achieved rapidly, another conflict will engulf the territory, a senior United Nations official said on Tuesday.
