Israeli troops shot dead at least two Palestinians after clashes erupted during an attempt to destroy the home of an alleged attacker in the occupied West Bank.
The Israeli military says hundreds of Palestinians threw rocks and firebombs at security forces prompting them to return fire Monday at the Qalandia refugee camp near Ramallah.
Israeli authorities have begun demolishing the homes of Palestinians suspected of carrying out violent attacks in Israel.
The home being targeted was that of Mohammed Abu Shahin who was accused of shooting dead Israeli Danny Gohen in June.
