Islamic State's affiliate in Egypt is claiming responsibility for three rockets fired Friday into southern Israel from Sinai.
No damage or casualties are reported.
The group sent a Twitter message saying it shot three Grad rockets into what it calls Jewish targets in "occupied Palestine."
Israeli officials say they found rocket parts in an open area, but they gave no other details.
Security officials have closed a major highway in southern Israel that runs along the Egyptian border as a precaution.
The Islamic State affiliate claimed responsibility for Wednesday's massive terrorist attack on Egyptian military checkpoints on Sinai, killing dozens of soldiers.
