Iraqis Elections Democratic Test or Political Theater?

Iraqis voted Sunday in parliamentary elections originally scheduled for 2022, but moved up in response to mass protests in 2019. Some say this is a new test for Iraq’s democratic system, but many activists say the elections are marred by corruption and sectarianism, marking no change at all.
