Six men are vying to become Iran's next president in the June 14 election. Their candidacies were approved by Iran's Guardian Council - a group of clerics and jurists that vets potential candidates.
To win, a candidate must get 50 percent of the vote. If no one succeeds after the initial vote, a runoff election will be scheduled a week later.
